We utilize
an iterative design approach for each custom order.
The following is a brief explanation of our ordering
process:
Step 1:
You may start with one of our existing designs, or we
will work closely with you through one-on-one
consultation (in person, over the phone or via email) to
create a custom design. We will create a design
based on your preferences for shape, size, colors, paper
type and overall look and feel.
Step 2:
Within one week of your custom consultation, we will
provide you with three to four sample designs via a
password protected electronic portfolio on our website.
Descriptions and price quotes will be provided for each
sample. You may request a change to any feature of
a sample and/or mix and match components from different
samples to create your perfect design.
We can provide hard-copy samples at your request for a
$2 fee per sample plus shipping.
Step 3: Within three days of your final design
selections, we will mail you a hard-copy proof with all
requested changes. After receiving the proof, we
request that written approval (via email) is provided
within 72 hours in order to keep production schedules on
target. Your
order will not be processed until we obtain proof
approval.
If you request additional modifications after receiving
your hard-copy proof, the changes will be posted
electronically. If you require a new hard-copy
proof, this will be provided for a $2 fee plus shipping
costs.
Note: Due to differences in computer
monitors, colors on screen may differ from those on your
actual stationery. Only your final
hard-copy proof will display the accurate color of your
design.
Step 4: Most orders will ship within 5-7 business
days of final proof approval and payment receipt. All designs include matching envelopes
(except postcards) and are sent fully assembled.
Due to the nature of wedding ensemble orders, longer
production time is required; wedding orders ship within
3-4 weeks of final proof approval.
Rush orders are available for a fee of $20 for standard
orders. For wedding ensemble orders, rush fees are
10% of your total order. Contact us for further details.

Payment
& Shipping
We require a deposit payment equal to 30% of your total
balance once you have made your design selections and
prior to receiving your hard-copy proof. A
detailed
invoice will be mailed to you along with your final
proof. Payment in full is required at the time of
final proof approval and your order will not be shipped
until payment is received. Checks may be made out

Cancellation & Returns
Although we work as quickly as possible to process
orders, it is possible to cancel an order if the item
has not yet been printed. Contact us immediately
if you need to cancel your order. We will issue a
refund, if you make your request prior to printing, for
the total amount of your order less the 30% deposit,
costs of proofs already provided, cost of envelopes if
shipped early and any other associated costs.
Unfortunately, orders cannot be canceled after items
have been printed.
As is the nature of the printing business, occasionally
an order must go back to press. Although it would
be highly unusual, if an order were produced incorrectly
by Dettaglio Designs and not according to your final
approved proof, priority press time and expedited
shipping will be used for reprints. If an order
requires reprinting for circumstances out of our
control, we will make our best effort to reprint your
order at the highest priority level possible. All
costs incurred during reprint will be the client's
responsibility.
We take great pride in each detail of every product we
offer. Please contact us if you are not happy with
your product for any reason and we will work hard to
ensure that you are 100% satisfied.

Disclaimers
We reserve the right to use the images of your
stationery and any wording contained therein on our
website and printed material when you place an order
with Dettaglio Designs.
When placing an order with Dettaglio Designs, you accept
that we may label the reverse side of any item created
by us in any manner we choose, stating that it was
created by Dettaglio Designs.
No item shown on our website may be downloaded, copied
or otherwise reproduced by any means.
The legal rights of photographers are always
respected by Dettaglio Designs. It is UNLAWFUL
for us to reproduce images that are copyrighted without
the express written permission of the person or entity
that created the original work. If you have a
copyrighted image, please contact the photographer to
request a signed copyright release; once provided, we
will keep this for our files. If you choose to
scan your professionally taken images on your own, you
are assuming the legal risk for violating any copyright.
By submitting these images to us, you agree to assume
full responsibility if any conflicts arise with the
photographer.
(Copyright Indemnification) Purchaser agrees to hold
harmless Dettaglio Designs for all costs, expenses,
attorney's fees or judgments resulting from any
copyright or proprietary right of any person or entity.
By placing an order with Dettaglio Designs, you agree
that we shall not be liable for any direct,
consequential, or incidental damages arising pursuant to
any aspect of your order or the content of the
information contained therein.
